Materials & Brands We Use
We install flooring from manufacturers that stand up to Florida's humidity and temperature fluctuations:
COREtec
100% waterproof luxury vinyl plank — ideal for Florida homes prone to moisture, spills, and humidity.
Mohawk
Durable LVP and laminate with scratch-resistant wear layers, perfect for active households and pets.
Shaw Floors
Waterproof flooring options with realistic wood and stone visuals in trending colors.
Daltile & Florida Tile
Porcelain and ceramic tile — naturally water-resistant and excellent for bathrooms, kitchens, and entryways.
Florida Building Code & Permits
Flooring replacement generally does not require a building permit, but there are important considerations:
- Flooring replacement typically does not require a permit unless structural subfloor repairs are needed.
- If subfloor damage is found, repairs must meet Florida Building Code structural requirements.
- Condo and HOA communities may require approval before flooring changes, especially for sound attenuation in second-floor units.
- Tile installed in wet areas (bathrooms, laundry) must follow proper waterproofing practices per Florida Building Code.
Warranty Coverage
Your flooring installation includes:
- Manufacturer residential warranty — 15 to 30 years on luxury vinyl plank depending on the product line.
- Manufacturer warranty on tile (lifetime against manufacturing defects).
- 1-year installation warranty covering workmanship defects.
- Extended manufacturer warranties available on select premium products.
